Q. What is Mango Languages account and how do I create an account?

Getting Started

STEP 1: Sign into Mango Languages from sfpl.org/elearning.

STEP 2: Click Language Learning/ESL.

STEP 3: Scroll down the list until you find Mango Languages. Click on the link. 

Enter your 14-digit card number without spaces and your PIN/password. If need to reset your PIN/password, please use our PIN/password Reset Tool. 

STEP 4: Create a Mango Languages Account

On the library's Mango Languages homepage, click on the Sign Up button to create a user profile or click on Use Mango As A Guest. If you already have an account, log in with the email address and password you chose when you first registered for a Mango account. If you have forgotten your password, use Mango's Forgot password? tool. 

STEP 5: Create your profile.

Create your profile by entering your email address and password of your choice. Then click on the orange Sign Up button.

STEP 6: Choose a language.

Pick a language to study from Popular Languages, or use the search box to find a specific language. Mango offers more than 70 different languages.

STEP 7: Start using Mango Languages.

You're done! Now you can start learning new languages with Mango Languages interactive videos and activities.

Mango Languages App

The Mango Languages app is available for Android, iOS, and Fire tablets. If you plan to use the app, be sure that you have created your account through the library's Mango Languages site before signing into the app for the first time.
