||San Francisco residents with a permanent or long-term disability can apply to authorize a caregiver to use your library card on your behalf, or use Library by Mail to borrow and return via the US Postal Service for free.
||Visitors from outside of CA with a valid photo ID, must provide a temporary San Francisco address and pay a $10 fee (card is valid for 3 months and may be renewed with an additional fee).
||Teachers who live or work in San Francisco, must show a valid photo ID and proof of current teacher status (card valid for 1 year and may be renewed by showing proof of current teacher status).
