Getting Started

Step 1: From sfpl.org, go to the Books & Media tab and click on eBook Collections. (Or you go directly to sfpl.enkilibrary.org and skip to Step 3.)

Step 2: Scroll down the page until you reach Enki eBooks. Click on the link.

Step 3: Sign in with your 14-digit card number and PIN/password. Click on a cover to start checking out ebooks. You may check out up to 100 ebooks and place holds on 20 titles.

Step 4: To access your ebook, use Enki's Read Online option or click Download to get the EPUB version. You'll need to install the Adobe Digital Editions software on your computer or mobile device to access the EPUB ebook, which comes encapsulated in an .ACSM file. Open the .ACSM file in Adobe Digital Editions.

Enki ebooks are not compatible with Kindle eReaders (e.g. Paperwhite).
