Single Clicks Holds is a way to have your holds automatically sent to a preferred branch.
Here is how to turn on the SINGLE CLICK HOLDS option:
1. Log in to the Bibliocommons catalog by going to our home page sfpl.org and click the LOG IN/MY SFPL link near the top, center of the screen. Enter your full 14 digit library card number or user name, and PIN/password.
2. Once you have successfully logged in. click on YOUR USER NAME on the top, right side of the screen, and select the ON HOLD option from the drop down menu.
3. If it hasn't been turned on, you will see a message that says SINGLE-CLICK HOLDS IS OFF located under the MY BORROWING box on the left side of the screen.
4. Click the blue OFF link.
You will then get a pop up box with the option to select whichever branch you want as the preferred location for your holds to go. Click on the arrow next to the branch name to see a full listing of all branches. Click SAVE and then next time you put a hold on an item, it will automatically send the item to your preferred branch.
