Does the library have an archive of the San Francisco Chronicle?

SFPL has a microfilm collection of the San Francisco Chronicle newspapers, from 1869 - 2021, available for public use at the Magazines and Newspapers Center located on the 5th floor of the Main Library, at 100 Larkin Street, San Francisco, CA 94102.

The Library also has a San Francisco Chronicle database you can search/view from a remote location with your SFPL library card:
San Francisco Chronicle, Current and Historical | (Newsbank)
- Full page and article images with searchable full-text of the historical San Francisco Chronicle from 1869-1984, and text-only current San Francisco Chronicle from 1985 to present.
