Creating an Optional Account

You may create a PressReader account to share and rate articles in PressReader and participate in related social media activities. But this is an optional feature — you may read PressReader content without having to create a PressReader account.

To create an optional account, use the Facebook, Twitter, Google, or email and password registration options. Note, the "Library Card" registration option is not currently supported.

PressReader App

The PressReader app is free and available for Android and iOS operating systems. If you plan to use the app, you must first authenticate through the library's website and then create a PressReader account with email address and password. The library card number sign-in method is currently unsupported. Please register with your email address and password instead.

Once authenticated, you will be allowed 1 day and 23 hours of complimentary access in the PressReader app. After this access period has ended, authenticate again through the library's website and then sign into the PressReader app.
