Q. How do I access The Wall Street Journal (wsj.com)?

STEP 1: From eMagazines & eNewspapers or Articles & Databases, click The Wall Street Journal (wsj.com) access link.

From eMagazines & eNewspapers, scroll down to eNews. From Articles & Databases, use the Filter by Letter tool and select W.

STEP 2: Log in with your 14-digit card number (barcode) and PIN/password.

To reset or create your PIN/password, use the PIN Reset Tool.

STEP 3: Create your The Wall Street Journal account by completing the fields, then click the CREATE button.

At the bottom of the form, agree to the WSJ's Terms of Use to proceed with account creation. To opt out of marketing emails from WSJ and its affiliates, uncheck the box next to this feature.  

STEP 4: WSJ will confirm your three-day access on-screen and by email. Click the GO TO WSJ.COM button to start using the news website.

At the end of the three days, simply log in as an existing user with the credentials you created in Step 3.

Using The Wall Street Journal mobile app

Get the free WSJ app for Android and iOS devices, then follow these steps:

1. Open your device’s browser and click the Library's access link.
2. Log in with your 14-digit card number and PIN/password.
3. Create your WSJ account. (Log in if you already created your account.)
4. Once your WSJ is created, access WSJ.com for three days. After three days, log in again with the credentials you created in Step 3.
