Expired Library Account
If your library account is expired, your Kanopy access will be blocked. To renew your library account, call 415-557-4400 or send an email.
Inactive Kanopy Account
If time has passed since you last used Kanopy, you may need to re-enter your card number and PIN/password in your Kanopy account settings.
Here are the steps to do this:
From web browser:
- Log into Kanopy with your email address and password, or your Google and Apple account.
- Click your Name in the upper right side of your screen.
- Select My Account, then click the My Libraries tab.
- *Next to San Francisco Public Library, click the three dots and then Edit.
- Carefully type your 14-digit library card number (no spaces or dashes) and library PIN/password.
- Save changes when you're done.
From Kanopy app:
- Open the Kanopy app on your device.
- Tap More in the bottom right corner.
- Tap My Libraries.
- *Tap San Francisco Public Library.
- Carefully type your 14-digit library card number (no spaces or dashes) and library PIN/password.
- Save changes when you're done.
Save changes when done.
*If San Francisco Public Library doesn't appear on the list, click Add New Library.
To update the email address associated with your Kanopy account, please contact Kanopy Support.
